Gen 1 Chapter 1

As it was my profession before I went to the hospital to join the medical career. I think I could become high up quite quickly.
Since it looked like I was staying here I thought I should get a makeover to fit in.
What do you think I look like?
I also went to the park after where I met Leighton. He was so nice to me. I said I was from out of town and had just moved here with nothing. Which was true. He was so kind to me.
Soon I found myself kissing him. It just wasn't like me at all. I was falling hard and fast.
I even propsed to him on the spot. I was sure if I were to start a family here I wanted it to be with him.
But then again. He did say no to me. I was so upset. I just had to go home.
I will keep trying though nothing will get me down. I'm Maria Spacey and this is my legacy.
